Intact is seeking a data science and actuarial team lead in a hybrid lab environment. You will coordinate a small team of data scientists, actuarial analysts, and AI developers, aligning daily work with the company’s data strategy and product goals.

The role requires 5+ years in Data Science or Actuarial, strong communication, and bilingual English-French capabilities. You will help guide talent, oversee model design, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve profitability.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Sciences.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science or Actuarial.
• Proven coaching experience with data scientists is a plus.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Bilingualism English-French; for Quebec bilingualism may be required.

Aufgaben

• Lead a small team of data scientists, actuarial analysts, and AI developers, coordinating daily activities.
• Translate data science strategy into actionable projects and improve key processes.
• Partner with management to guide talent development and oversee model design and analyses.
• Provide technical advice to the team on data science, risk assessment, NLP, and process optimization.
• Represent Data Science in cross-functional groups and collaborate with other business units.
• Participate in project-based tasks as directed by Manager or Director.
