Job summary

Desjardins Technology Group seeks a Senior Advisor to lead the commercialization of innovative pricing capabilities and advance analytics for Personal & Commercial Insurance, including Auto and Property & Casualty.

The role bridges research, actuarial, and technology to translate complex concepts into scalable market-ready solutions, collaborating with pricing, underwriting and R&D teams.

Qualifications

Six years of P&C insurance experience, preferably with pricing or actuarial work
Strong analytical and programming skills across Python, R, SAS, SQL
Experience applying predictive modeling and advanced analytics to business problems
Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as Azure

Responsibilities

Commercialize R&D initiatives in insurance pricing and accelerate adoption
Partner with ratemaking, underwriting, distribution, and analytics teams to deploy solutions
Collaborate across Personal and Commercial Insurance (Auto and P&C) to solve complex challenges
Develop and apply analytical processes and novel methodologies to support decision-making
