Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee residential dining operations in Laval, QC. You will develop staff schedules, train and lead a team, and manage catering orders with weekly invoicing.

You’ll handle administrative duties and ensure strong client relationships while enforcing QA and health & safety standards. Applicants should have solid supervisory experience, excellent problem-solving, and a passion for customer service, with strong French communication and MS

Responsibilities

• Help the Manager oversee the residential dining operations.
• Develop and monitor a meal and break schedule for staff without affecting service.
• Train, develop and lead a team of associates delivering great customer service.
• Monitor and organize catering orders with weekly invoicing.
• Perform administrative duties: cash readings, inventory, banking, ordering and Be a Star program administration.
• Be accountable for client and customer relationship building.
• Ensure strict compliance with Compass QA and Health and Safety Programs.
