Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience as dietary aide or in hospitality/customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals per instructions.
• Good time-management and multitasking.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to residents or patients per therapeutic diets.
• Set up, clear, clean and sanitize dining spaces.
• Maintain cleaning duties or follow daily schedule.
• Monitor and restock service areas.
• Observe HACCP guidelines for safe handling.
• Follow WHMIS and MSDS guidelines when using chemicals.
• Support with special function catering as delegated.
