Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service for residents, adhering to safety and sanitary standards. You will help with meal prep, set up, tray delivery, and maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas.

Candidates should have a Food Handler's Certificate and, ideally, prior experience in food service with seniors. A proactive, patient approach and ability to lift items are important to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Handler's Certificate.
• Experience in food service/with seniors is an asset.
• Must be enrolled or possess Food Service Worker Training.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist in set up and preparation for service of items such as beverages, salads, desserts.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and cutlery after each seating.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas as required.
• Assist with catering and participate in special occasions and events.
