AgeCare is hiring a Dietary Aide to support residents’ dietary needs and provide a welcoming dining experience. You will help with setup, service, and cleanup, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager.

The role emphasizes compassion, accuracy, and teamwork in a seniors-focused environment. Students or employees enrolled in Food Service Worker Training may be considered; a Food Handler's Certificate is required, with a preference for those with prior senior care experience.

Competenze

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Experience in food service and working with seniors preferred.
• Must be enrolled in a Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand/walk for most of shift.
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
• Must provide Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check within six months.

Mansioni

• Serve meals to residents and guests professionally.
• Set up and prepare for service (beverages, salads, desserts).
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service.
• Clean dishware and cutlery after seating.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with catering and participate in special events.
• Assist in training new dietary staff.
