Job summary

AgeCare in Mississauga is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and serving for residents in a safe, sanitary dining environment. You will help set up meals, deliver trays, and maintain dining area cleanliness throughout shifts.

Preference given to those with a Food Handler's Certificate and customer service experience; second language is a plus. This role supports our residents with dignity and care in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must have or be pursuing Food Handler's Certificate.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining setting with seniors.
• Capable of lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional manner.
• Assist in setup and preparation of beverages, salads, and desserts.
• Set and clear dining tables; deliver tray service as needed.
• Assist with dishware and kitchen cleanliness at each seating.
• Help maintain clean dining and kitchen areas.
• Support catering and participate in special events.
