Tasks:

1. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
2. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
3. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
4. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
5. Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
6. Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
