An established industry player in transportation services is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to ensure the safety and reliability of their fleet. This role involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel buses, as well as diagnosing mechanical issues. $34 - $40 per hour (based on experience)
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours per week)

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. At Clark Bus Lines, we value professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel buses and fleet vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
· Conduct engine overhauls, brake system repairs, transmission servicing, and other major mechanical repairs as needed
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations, including Ministry of Transportation (MTO) inspections
· Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used
· Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of fleet vehicles
· Work collaboratively with other mechanics and team members to maintain a safe and organized shop environment
· Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and manufacturer guidelines
Qualifications & Skills:
· Previous experience as a diesel mechanic required
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
· Must be reliable and punctual
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
