Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs, including testing and adjusting various systems such as steering, electrical, cooling, and transmissions, in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
• Arrange inspections and obtain approval for major repairs before releasing vehicles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Identify and report additional maintenance needs.
• Record all repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Report unsafe conditions or practices.
• Perform road calls and on-road repairs as needed.
• Uphold ethical standards and report suspicious or inappropriate behavior.

Qualifications

• Certified as a 310T or 310S technician.
• At least 3 years of fleet maintenance experience, including repairs and engine rebuilds on diesel trucks or buses.
• Hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline engines in a large fleet environment.
• Proficient with computerized diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organizational skills are a plus.
