Job summary

Momentum Developmental Support is hiring a Developmental Support Worker to join the Momentum Community. You will work with adults to promote independence and well-being through programs in recreation, learning, fitness and money management.

This unionized position emphasizes teamwork and client-centered care. The role requires a Highschool Diploma, a valid driver's license, and a medical/immunization records packet including a TB test and a vulnerable sector check.

Qualifications

• Required: Highschool Diploma; post-secondary in a relevant field is an asset.
• Experience in support roles with adults is an asset.
• Driver's license, medical report including immunization, TB test, record of conduct, vulnerable sector check, and EFA/ CPR Level C required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles.
• Promote independence through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities.

What you'll bring?

A Highschool Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset). Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset A driver's license is required as well as a Medical report, including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report, Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C
