Momentum Developmental Support in Whitbourne, NL, is hiring a Casual Developmental Support Worker to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help clients maintain safe, healthy lifestyles and support independence through personalized activities, including recreation and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes teamwork, learning opportunities, and a positive, client-centered approach within a unionized setting.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma is required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is asset.
• Experience in a support role with adults, preferably with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is asset.

Developmental Support Worker

Working with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, you promote independence based on individual programming through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities. What you'll bring?

• A Highschool Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset).
• Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset A driver's license is required as well as a Medical report, including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report, Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C.

Compensation is $19.08 per hour as per the collective agreement
