Job summary

Momentum Developmental Support in Whitbourne invites applications for a Casual Developmental Support Worker role. You will join a team dedicated to helping adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities lead safer, healthier lives.

Responsibilities include promoting independence through personalized programming, recreation, education, fitness, and money management activities. Compensation is $19.08 per hour under the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required.
• Medical report including immunization record and TB skin test.
• Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check.
• Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C.

Working with clients to maintain safe and healthy lifestyles, you promote independence based on individual programming through recreational, learning, physical fitness, and money management activities. FUN is a big part of our day!

What you'll bring?

• A Highschool Diploma (post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset).
• Experience working in a support role with adults, preferably adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders is considered an asset A driver's license is required as well as a Medical report, including immunization record and Tuberculosis skin test report, Record of conduct and a vulnerable sector check, Emergency First Aid AED/CPR Level C.
