FCC Canada Ltd. is seeking a Project Design Specialist in North York, ON, to coordinate design activities and manage technical documentation.

You will ensure compliance with standards and oversee document control processes to maintain accuracy and traceability across all deliverables. You will collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams, drive scheduled submissions, and provide data-driven insights to project managers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in engineering projects.
• Proven experience with document control systems and processes.

Mansioni

• Support design projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and production to resolve technical issues.
• Manage and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications in accordance with company standards.
• Implement and enforce document control procedures to ensure version accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to distribute and update documents.
• Provide actionable analysis on submissions performance metrics to project managers and leadership.
• Generate, customize, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports (e.g., document status, submission logs, overdue items, approval timelines).
• Maintain dashboards for real-time visibility of document control health across projects.
