Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Quebec is seeking adept Department Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, coordinate with production and customer service, and ensure exceptional service. You will manage purchasing, inventory, price lists, and merchandising in collaboration with management, driving wage productivity and readiness.

Lead and develop team members to meet objectives and sustain a high standard of store performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a diverse team toward objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work with production and customer service clerks to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service across the store.
• In collaboration with management, manage purchasing, inventory, price lists, merchandising and wage productivity.
