Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance is seeking a Department Manager in Quebec to lead daily operations in our store. The role focuses on teamwork, customer service, and inventory control to ensure smooth business readiness.

You will collaborate with production and customer service clerks, manage purchasing, prices, merchandising, and wage productivity, and provide feedback for staff development and objective achievement. Shift is Day, 40 hours per week, weekdays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with management experience.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• work with production and customer service clerks;
• ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service;
• in collaboration with management, manage purchasing, inventory, price lists, merchandising, wage productivity according to established standards to ensure business readiness
• provide team members with the necessary feedback for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives.
