Job summary

The Marshall Group is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist for maternity leave in a dental office located in Etobicoke, ON. The ideal candidate is a enthusiastic team player dedicated to patient care.

Requirements include 2+ years as a dental receptionist and Maxident experience preferred (can be trained). Hours are Mon to Fri 9-6; location Martin Grove/Albion with free parking; compensation TBD depending on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a dental receptionist.
• Maxident experience preferred or training available.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Create a long-term loyal patient relationship through a great first impression.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments by telephone and in person.
• Send appointment confirmations via email and telephone; follow up as needed.
• Provide patients with information about the dental office and route calls appropriately.
• Prepare and submit predeterminations from treatment plans.
• Verify procedures, collect payments, and submit insurance claims electronically.
• Receive and distribute mail; enter and scan payments and referrals.
• Maintain charts and patient records accurately.
• Keep track of supplies and order as needed.
• Liaise with couriers and labs.
• Ensure waiting room and reception area are clean and tidy.

DENTAL RECEPTIONIST JOB DESCRIPTION
