Job summary

Riverbend Family Dental Care, part of the dentalcorp network in Edmonton, seeks a Dental Practice Lead to steer daily operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and patient care excellence. You will lead a team, drive productivity, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

You will also oversee compliance with provincial health standards, contribute to recruitment and training, and collaborate with leadership to support growth and service quality.

Qualifications

• University or College Diploma in business or office administration.
• 3–5 years experience as a Dental Practice Lead or Dental Practice Manager.
• Experience in supervisory/management role with staff scheduling, finances, inventory and people management.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong commitment to maintaining health regulation and operational standards.
• Willingness to work varied hours; eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve daily operations to maximize productivity and patient growth.
• Lead and motivate the team to improve engagement and retention.
• Ensure compliance with provincial health regulations and patient safety.
• Manage staffing costs and payroll; oversee accounts receivable.
• Oversee recruitment of dental professionals and assess fit.
• Collaborate with Compliance, DC Institute and HR on policy implementation.
• Support company programs and training initiatives.
