Job summary

Fairview Dentistry in St. Thomas, Ontario, is seeking a Practice Manager to lead operations and patient experience at our busy dental practice.

You will optimize appointment scheduling, manage patient communications, handle billing and insurance submissions, and maintain accurate records with empathy and clear communication. We value at least 1 year of administrative experience, familiarity with dental software, and a clinical background is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Administrator experience.
• Experience with Dental software is preferred.
• Clinical background is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Make a positive and lasting impression on the patient from arrival to departure.
• Optimize the appointment schedule to keep the day full with minimal gaps.
• Manage all patient calls and inquiries with a smile: appointments, confirmations and amendments.
• Handle potential cancellations and overcome objections to keep the schedule full.
• Bill patients after treatment, process insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries.
• Maintain and file patient records and the recall system; manage referrals.
