Tall Pines Dental Centre in Kitchener is seeking a Practice Manager to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional patient care.

This role requires a diploma in business or office administration and 3–5 years in dental practice leadership, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • University or college diploma in business/office administration.
  • 3–5 years experience as a dental practice lead or manager.
  • Experience with staff scheduling, finances, inventory and people management.
  • Strong business acumen with budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute plans to improve daily operations and productivity.
  • Review clinic indicators and provide coaching to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and patient safety.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, HR, and regulatory bodies to meet standards.
  • Lead by example in implementing programs and managing payroll.
  • Support recruitment and assess best fit for dental professionals.

Schedule:
  • Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Tuesdays: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

The wage for this Practice Manager position is$70k - $X=80k/annually depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Impact:

Operational Planning & Execution

  • Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the practice ensuring maximum productivity, operational excellence and develop strategies to increase organic patient growth
  • Constantly review clinic environment and key business indicators toidentifyproblems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to provide coaching and direction to team
  • Compliance & Patient Safety
  • Partner with Compliance, DC Institute and Human Resources to ensure the clinic is fully compliant and meets the provincial health regulation standards
  • Manage and oversee all compliance programs within the practice, while leading by example to ensure patient safety is a top priority
  • Workin accordance withthe practice’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and in compliance with applicable provincial legislation

Leadership

  • Lead,coachand motivate the team to improve productivity,engagementand retention of patients
  • Drive the implementation of company programs,policiesand procedures by supporting action plans and directly motivating the team to meet operational and companyobjectives
  • Support recruitment efforts to interview dental professionals and assess for best fit
  • Manage and analyze daily staffing costs and payroll administration; oversee accounts receivable process
About You:
  • University or College Diploma in business or office administration
  • 3-5years experienceas a Dental Practice Lead or Dental Practice Manager isrequired
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role contributing to business operations including staff scheduling, finances,inventoryand people management
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Strong commitment tomaintaininghealth regulation and operational standards
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs
