Job summary

Dawson Dental in Innisfil, Ontario is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our dentists, help patients feel comfortable, and keep the day running smoothly.

You will join a caring, team-first environment with opportunities to grow your skills, build patient relationships, and contribute to a positive dental experience. The role includes chair-side support, X-rays, sterilization, chart updates, and coordination of patient flow.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule: Full-Time

Monday: 9.30am-6.00pm

Tuesday: 11.00am - 4.00pm

Wedensday: 8.30am - 6.00pm

Thursday: 8.30am - 6.00pm

Friday: 8.30am - 2.00pm

Alternating Saturday: 8.30am - 2.00pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$28-$35/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
