Job summary

Metro Dental in Calgary, part of the dentalcorp network, is seeking an administrative professional to greet patients, manage the appointment schedule, and maintain patient records using dental software. The role supports clinicians and aims to deliver excellent patient service.

Minimum 1 year of admin experience is required; proficiency with dental software is an asset. Cantonese and/or Mandarin ability is considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of administration experience.
• Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them.
• Optimize the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
• Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
• Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence; manage and file all patient records and charts.
