Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely driving and delivering construction materials to job sites, managing the delivery schedule, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining a clean and well-functioning delivery vehicle. This role requires a commitment to safety, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle materials up to ~50kg.

Who You Are:

• Have a valid G License and 5+ years of driving experience
• Experience in loading and unloading cargo
• Ability to oversee delivery schedules and manage associated paperwork
• Ability to lift up to ~50kg
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse operations
• Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and deliver construction materials to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance, including washing, cleaning, and ensuring all mechanical systems are functioning properly.
• Track material deliveries, returns, and inventory in the warehouse to ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage, and ensure correct materials are delivered as per schedule.
• Oversee and manage daily delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for deliveries, including receipts and delivery notes, accurately and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure materials are organized for efficient dispatch and returns.
• Follow all safety procedures, road laws, and company protocols during deliveries to maintain a safe driving record.
• Report any delivery issues, delays, or vehicle maintenance concerns to the management team promptly.
