Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Langley, BC. You will deliver groceries in a company van and provide exceptional customer service while coordinating with the online shopping team to resolve issues.

You must maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, and be able to work day and evening shifts in all weather. Applicants need a BC Class 5 license with a clean abstract, Serving It Right or willingness to obtain, and experience in customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid, full BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with a focus on customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues.
• Maintain high operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and in accordance with road rules.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy; perform other duties as assigned.

Just show up and drive!We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Langley, BC.You will be responsible for:Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.Other duties as assigned.You have:A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.A clean driver’s abstract.A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.Experience in a customer service-related role.A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
