Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring delivery drivers in Chilliwack, BC. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service, working with the online shopping team to resolve issues and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately.

You must have a valid BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, Serving It Right or be willing to obtain it, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds while working in all weather conditions. GPS and mobile tech proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum customer service experience.
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with mobile technology (GPS apps, smartphones).

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van while providing customer-first service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and service center for order issues.
• Meet operational standards for Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and follow road rules.
• Maintain a clean, roadworthy delivery vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Just show up and drive!We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Chilliwack, BC.You will be responsible for:Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.Other duties as assigned.You have:A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.A clean driver’s abstract.A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.Experience in a customer service-related role.A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
