Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Powell River, BC, is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from the store to customers’ doors with a focus on first-class service.

You will drive a fully equipped van, assist online shopping and customer service teams with returns and refunds, and maintain the vehicle and delivery standards in all weather, day or night. Safety and professionalism are required.

Qualifications

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve returns/refunds.
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely according to traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle’s cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Powell River, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:
