Responsibilities

• Process driver accident files and create incident reports.

• File logs and driver documents and perform related tasks.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented Safety and Compliance Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Process driver accident files, analyze and create incident and accident reports.
• Approve driving hours, be the contact person for any questions drivers may have concerning logs.
• Follow up on documents carriers must provide to comply with our C-TPAT accreditation.
• Create customer codes for new carriers
• Manage the renewal process for drivers' licenses and Fast cards
• Order police reports
• Organize hiring, routine and post-accident screenings, and follow up with external company
• Create driver files in the computer system, scan the required documents, add various checks and indicate the equipment issued to the driver
• File certain documents (logs, driver files, etc.).
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the trucking industry such as: a past Class 1 Driver, Dispatcher, Safety and Compliance
