Job summary

The Abbotsford School District is seeking a Trades Journeyman – DDC to join our Facilities team at 31759 King Road. This 12-month, continuing position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Extended Health & Dental and Municipal Pension Plan.

You will repair, maintain, and install DDC and related electrical/mechanical systems, support district staff, and ensure safe operation of networked controls across the site.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma with BC Electrical qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of trades experience in HVAC controls and DDC systems.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify and maintain DDC systems and related network infrastructure.
• Repair motors, electrical distribution and related equipment.
• Create or modify GUIs/web pages for DDC control.
• Operate computer systems and software related to DDC controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical and DDC issues and coordinate with external contractors as needed.
