WHY Brands Inc. in Milton, Canada, is seeking a Temporary Lead Hand to guide warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will lead hands-on execution, coordinate teams, and drive continuous improvement to enhance throughput and customer satisfaction in omni-channel fulfillment. You will report to the Senior Operations Manager and help optimize processes, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on warehouse/distribution center operations experience.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Software (WMS); Oracle WMS experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience operating warehouse equipment including order pickers, stand up reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts; Swing-reach preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in identifying operational improvements and implement process optimizations in DC functions.
• Execute established processes for omni-channel order fulfillment during volume fluctuations.
• Support process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in DC functions.
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics; report to Senior Operations Manager/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with carrier partners and internal teams to support on-time delivery and resolve issues.
• Reinforce DC policies to ensure compliance and optimization.
• Assist with labor scheduling and team coordination; support talent development.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and report on operational costs and productivity.
