Dexterra is seeking a detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our Toronto site. The role entails independent work, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and delivering consistent quality across offices, pantries, restrooms, and common areas.

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to high cleanliness standards, with a minimum of 6 months cleaning experience and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' cleaning experience.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public.
• Clear criminal background check required.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to high cleanliness standards.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and equipment per protocols.
• Empty trash and replace liners regularly.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Participate in trainings and safety programs.
