Job summary

COFOMO is seeking a Data Engineering Consultant in Montreal. Hybrid work arrangement with client-focused data projects across industries. You will analyze data, develop ML-ready models, and translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

Requirements include 7+ years in data analytics or data science, 5+ years as a data scientist, and strong Python, R, SAS, SQL skills. You will work with Power BI/Tableau/Shiny and big data tools to productionize insights.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years or more of experience in data, advanced analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Five (5) years or more of experience as a data scientist, analytical advisor, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python, R and SAS in a professional context for four (4) to five (5) years or more.
• Experience using SQL and handling large volumes of data for 4-5 years or more.
• Developed and put into production machine learning models in a business context for at least three (3) years.
• Performed statistical modeling work, including testing, segmentation, regression and forecasting.
• Designed or integrated artificial intelligence solutions.
• Experience in big data environments for at least 3 years.
• Familiarity with at least two relational database environments, ideally Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Usage of at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Shiny.
