iA Financial Group in Canada is seeking a Data Analyst within the Strategy and Analytics team of the Pricing, New Business and Claims division. You will transform data into performance drivers by collaborating with data analysts, managers, pricing and claims specialists and other partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, actuarial science, business intelligence or related field.

What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics, actuarial science, business intelligence or another related field;
• Has at least two years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a similar role;
• Is proficient in SQL and a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau;
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and the ability to analyze complex data;
• Communicates technical concepts effectively to business partners with varied backgrounds;
• Demonstrates autonomy, initiative and rigour, particularly in validation and documentation;
• Has a strong interest in technology and the ability to learn and use new tools and programming languages;
• Has experience in the insurance or financial services industry. Knowledge of a programming language used in data analysis, such as Python or R, is considered an asset.
