Job summary

iA Financial Group, through iA Auto and Home Insurance (iAAHI), is seeking a Senior P&C Actuarial Analyst to join our pricing team in a fast-evolving property and casualty environment. The role leverages actuarial expertise, strong communication, teamwork, proactivity, and professional judgment daily.

You will influence rate indications, pricing strategies, and data-driven insights while collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Actively pursuing CAS or CIA examinations and progressing toward ACAS/FCAS and/or ACIA/FCIA designation.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Has proficiency with computer and analytical tools.
  • Is recognized for attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work.
  • Is known for strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth actuarial analyses in personal auto and home insurance pricing to support rate, segmentation, and algorithm adjustments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to guide strategic pricing decisions in response to market dynamics.
  • Contribute to rate indications and provide recommendations based on comprehensive actuarial analyses.
  • Transform large volumes of data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate the results of analyses and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in pricing initiatives and process improvement projects with significant product impact.
  • Support development and mentorship of fellow actuarial analysts.
  • Represent the actuarial team in cross-functional working groups.

What Will Help You Succeed In This Role
