Job summary

iA Auto and Home Insurance (iAAHI) is seeking a Senior P&C Actuarial Analyst to join our Pricing team. You will use actuarial expertise to support rate setting, segmentation, and pricing algorithms for personal auto and home insurance.

You will work in an agile, collaborative environment, mentor peers, and present insights to stakeholders as you contribute to market-responsive pricing decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Actively pursuing CAS or CIA examinations and progressing toward ACAS/FCAS and/or ACIA/FCIA designation.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Has proficiency with computer and analytical tools.
  • Is recognized for attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work.
  • Is known for strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth actuarial analyses in personal auto and home insurance pricing to support rate, segmentation, and algorithm adjustments

  • Supporting the development and mentorship of fellow actuarial analysts
  • Representing the actuarial team in cross-functional working groups
