iA Financial Group is looking for a Student – Data Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights to support business decisions. The role involves data extraction, analysis, dashboard maintenance, and collaboration with stakeholders within a hybrid work setup.

You will work on automating tasks using SQL, Excel, Power Query and Power BI while developing reusable solutions for recurring business needs. Ideal candidates are pursuing data science or analytics-related studies and are proficient

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in data science, business analytics, actuarial science, computer science, statistics or related field.
• Demonstrates strong interest in data analysis, reporting and solving business problems.
• Shows high level of rigor and strong analytical skills.
• Proactive mindset with ability to work independently.
• Proficient with Excel, SQL or Power BI.
• Has intermediate English proficiency for analyses and daily communications.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and interpret data to address concrete business needs such as KPI monitoring and management reporting.

• Contributing to the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, tracking files, and reporting tools;
• Presenting results in a clear and simplified manner to support understanding and decision-making among stakeholders;
• Participating in the collection, validation, and transformation of data required for recurring and ad hoc reporting;
• Supporting the automation of repetitive tasks using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or other relevant technologies;
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to streamline processes, reduce the risk of errors, and develop reusable solutions to efficiently address recurring business needs.
