Job summary

Meda Limited is seeking an experienced Data Acquisition Engineer to support an automotive client. The role is onsite in Canada, with travel to the USA and eligibility to TN visa or equivalent required from start date.

The successful candidate will set up and operate data acquisition systems, lead projects end-to-end, and coordinate instrumentation work on vehicles. A BSc in Engineering with Electrical engineering preference is expected, plus strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.
• Detailed understanding of the data acquisition systems and various transducers used and how they interact as well as CAN communication.
• Process and detail oriented indi vidual.
• Good communication and leadership skills are required.

We are recruiting an experienced Data Acquisition Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. NOTE: Onsite Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date MUST be eligible for TN VISA or equivalent

• Coordinating test specimen build, setting up data acquisition systems, data processing, communicating with stakeholders
• Operate and conduct data acquisition at company grounds

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred

• Good communication and leadership skills are required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• $31.80 - $36.80/hour (depending on experience)
• Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
• Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work
