A leading utility locating company in Ontario is seeking a Damage Prevention Technician to locate underground utilities using provided equipment. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, adhering to safety regulations and company policies. A high school diploma and a valid ‘G’ class driver's license are required. The position includes paid training and benefits such as health insurance and a pension plan. This is a physically demanding job requiring work in varied weather conditions.

Damage Prevention Technicians locate underground utilities i.e., power lines, water lines, sewer lines, steam lines, gas lines, communication lines, and more, for a prescribed geography. Using company provided equipment, the Damage Prevention Technician will locate, mark (with spray paint and flags) and record electronically, underground utilities. A paid training program is provided.
