Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end initiatives in a hybrid delivery model.

You will translate business needs into structured roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment to deliver secure outcomes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years managing large projects in banking or financial services, fluent in French and English, and hands-on experience with MS Project and EPM

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery from planning to close, aligned with objectives and PM methodologies.
• Structure mandates into roadmaps with scope, milestones, dependencies, governance and KPIs.
• Engage stakeholders by identifying decision-makers, clarifying responsibilities and managing issues.
• Coordinate interdependencies across initiatives, teams and work streams for proper sequencing and risk mitigation.
• Link business needs to technology solutions, challenging assumptions to facilitate decisions.
• Drive execution in ambiguous contexts, maintaining momentum and adapting to constraints.
• Apply governance with planning, risk, issues, change control and budget monitoring.
• Prepare for operations sustainability with transition, processes, controls and adoption needs.
• Supervise suppliers and partners to ensure contractual delivery milestones.
• Manage risks related to operations, compliance, adoption and governance.
• Measure results with adoption metrics, benefit tracking and progression signals.
• Present status, risks, decisions, issues and outcomes to executives.

Both strategic and tactical, we help organizations across a wide range of industries thrive in today’s rapidly evolving world.## Our promiseHelp our clients succeed and maximize the impact of their transformation initiatives, turning them into powerful drivers of growth and innovation.## Job description**Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have :** • Lead end-to-end delivery, from planning to close, ensuring alignment with business objectives, organizational priorities, and project management methodology; • Structure evolving mandates into concrete roadmaps covering scope, expected results, milestones, dependencies, decisions, governance, and performance indicators; • Engage stakeholders by identifying decision-makers, clarifying responsibilities, developing relationships, facilitating decision-making, and managing issues constructively; • Coordinate interdependencies across initiatives, teams, and work streams to ensure proper sequencing of activities, problem resolution, and risk mitigation; • Link business needs and technology solutions by challenging assumptions and estimates, and facilitating decisions between the teams involved; • Drive outcome-oriented execution in ambiguous contexts by maintaining momentum, validating assumptions, and adapting to constraints; • Apply appropriate governance by integrating planning, risk management, issues, assumptions and dependencies, change control, budget monitoring and accountability; • Prepare for the sustainability of operations by defining the transition approach, business processes, controls, supporting model, adoption needs and responsibilities; • Supervise suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with contractual commitments and delivery milestones; • Manage risks related to operations, compliance, adoption, organizational capacity, training, process alignment, and governance; • Measure results and benefits using success criteria, adoption metrics, benefit tracking, delivery progress, and stabilization metrics; • Present to executives the status, risks, decisions, issues, dependencies, outcomes, and escalations required; • Promote excellence in project management by strengthening delivery practices and continuous improvement within the team; • Maintain project artifacts in accordance with methodologies and organizational standards; • Support organizational change through communications, training, coaching, adoption planning, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. **The profile you are looking for is as follows:** • Have more than ten (10) years of experience in managing large, high-profile projects in the banking or financial services sectors; • Experience in organizational transformation involving technology-driven changes, process improvements, evolving operating models, or governance practices; • Have completed large-scale, complex deliveries involving multiple work streams, external partners, and vendor management; • Demonstrate experience supporting adoption through communications, training, coaching, process standardization or post-deployment reinforcement; • Master the definition of expected results, performance indicators, earnings monitoring and management reporting; • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, operations management, management or a related field; • Proficiency in a relevant field (an asset); • Knowledge of project governance principles, including integrated planning, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and changes; • Master the art of structuring ambiguous mandates into clear plans, milestones, dependencies, governance mechanisms and decision-making; • Have a good knowledge of change management, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, reinforcement and feedback; • Effectively use project and portfolio management tools, including MS Project and EPM platforms, while demonstrating strong documentation skills; • Develop qualitative and quantitative indicators for value monitoring and continuous improvement; • Understand hybrid delivery approaches as well as agile frameworks; • Hold a certification in project management (an asset); • Adopt a global organizational vision and understand business and technological impacts; • Use strategic thinking and political acumen to build buy-in, manage differing points of view, and foster alignment; • Exercise collaborative leadership in multidisciplinary environments involving multiple teams and external partners; • Move with ease in ambiguous contexts while maintaining clarity, momentum and good judgment; • Demonstrate autonomy, courage, tact, a sense of responsibility and great rigor; • Be available to work in hybrid mode; the position cannot be performed entirely remotely; • This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
