Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Customer Support Centre Representative on a fixed-term contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. As the first point of contact for customers, you will direct inquiries, coordinate service requests, and support branch operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service, strong communication, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service, call centre, receptionist, dispatch, or similar support role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming customer calls in a high-volume environment.
• Identify customer needs and connect them with the appropriate branch, department, or team member.
• Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer service.
• Handle sensitive and priority inquiries with discretion and professionalism.
• Gather customer information and service requirements.
• Create and document service requests for branch follow-up and resolution.
• Ensure all customer interactions are accurately recorded.
• Respond to incoming customer chats and online inquiries.
• Direct parts and service requests to the appropriate teams.
• Collect key information and coordinate follow-up communication.
• Participate in occasional overnight on-call rotations.
• Monitor and respond to after-hours customer inquiries and urgent requests.
• Accurately document and communicate call-out information to appropriate teams.
• Assist with maintaining accurate branch information and customer resources.
• Support reception coverage when required.
• Record and communicate customer feedback and operational updates.
• Assist with reporting and administrative activities that support daily business operations.
• Identify sales opportunities and submit customer leads.
• Route customer inquiries to sales and support teams for follow-up.
• Help ensure customers are connected with the right resources promptly.
