Job summary

Finning Canada in Edmonton is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Service Writer to be the first contact for customers at the rental counter. You will support equipment rentals, sales transactions and a range of administrative tasks.

This fast-paced role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting customers and internal teams.

• Several years of direct sales and customer service experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
• Comfortable with computerized systems and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient, and friendly customer service at the rental counter.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with equipment, rentals, and service inquiries.
• Promote and sell rental products and services to meet customer needs.
• Prepare rental and sales agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Process equipment returns and close rental contracts.
• Manage equipment inquiries and availability using company systems.
• Utilize purchase order systems and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Support equipment servicing activities as required.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and processed promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of available equipment and rental product offerings to help customers identify the right solutions for their projects.
