Job summary

Farm Boy in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a team member to deliver welcoming, helpful customer service and keep our department looking its best. You’ll ensure products are displayed beautifully and customers feel supported throughout their visit.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining clean, safe work areas, following Health & Safety procedures, and assisting with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Deliver engaging customer service to reflect Farm Boy’s standards.
• Retail experience is asset; education/experience mix considered.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with multiple deadlines and physical tasks.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English; French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with Farm Boy Service Standards.
• Welcome customers, share product knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Package, stock and rotate merchandise; ensure presentation and signage are accurate.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work and storage areas.
• Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety policies; use equipment properly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and support teammates as needed.
