Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education is partnering with SFU Dining Services in Burnaby, BC to hire a Customer Service role. You will perform cleaning, restock beverage stations and cutlery, and assist customers with a smile on your face.

How will you make an impact: You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, such as cleaning, refilling beverage stations and cutlery, ensuring excellence in customer service.

As a Customer Service, you will:

• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Support customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

About you:

• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or fast food is considered an asset.
• Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.
