Job summary

The Landline Company is seeking a Part-Time Airport Customer Service Agent to join the Niagara team at the Niagara District Airport (YCM). The role involves assisting with passenger check-in and boarding and providing information to travelers.

We require a high school diploma and at least 2 years of customer service experience; experience with an Airline Passenger Service System is a plus. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience with an Airline Passenger Service System is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide information about our services.
• Assist customers with the boarding process and check-in as needed.
• Answer customer questions and resolve customer concerns.
• Enter passenger information into reservations systems; update records accordingly.
• Load and unload baggage from vehicles and carousels; maintain luggage handling duties as needed.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Landline’s products and services.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Role:

We’re seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Agent to join our Niagara team! You will be responsible for assisting with passenger check-in and boarding at the Niagara District Airport.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide information about our services
• Assist customers with the boarding process
• Answer customer questions and resolve customer concerns
• Enter passenger information into reservations systems
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Load and remove customer baggage from Landline vehicles and baggage carousels
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Landline’s products and services
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Experience working with an Airline Passenger Service System is preferred
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to learn new systems and be flexible in tough situations
• Valid driver's license and reliable, personal transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Criminal reference check required. Must have the ability to obtain airport security clearances as needed.
