Job summary

Landline is seeking a motorcoach driver for part-time and full-time roles with overnight shifts based in Mississauga, near YYZ. You’ll operate passenger vehicles safely, load/unload baggage, and adhere to schedules announced in advance, including weekends, mornings, and nights.

Qualified candidates have a BZ or CZ license with at least 1 year of commercial driving, a clean abstract, and the ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Valid BZ or CZ license and at least 1 year of commercial passenger driving.
• Clear driving abstract with no demerits.
• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug test required.
• Ability to load/unload luggage up to 70 pounds (32 kg).
• Proficient with tablets and online apps.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate passenger vehicles in a timely and courteous manner.
• Complete required logs and vehicle inspections as per MTO and company policy.
• Provide courteous service to passengers and other drivers.
• Maintain professional conduct while on duty or in uniform.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections with focus on safety.
• Load and unload baggage weighing up to 70 pounds per unit; manage luggage carts.
• Clean, fuel, and assist with waste tank dumping as needed.

Landline is an innovative transportation company connecting customers to affordable air travel via our partner airlines. Our luxury motorcoaches allow customers to ride comfortably from regional airports to their nearest hub. We currently operate in the United States and are excited to continue our growth in the Greater Toronto Area.

The Role:

We are looking for apart-time and full-time motorcoach driver to join our team focusing on overnight shifts! This individual will have a varying schedule but will always know well in advance what their schedule will look like, including weekends, mornings, and nights. This will support routes to and from YYZ (6301 Silver Dart Drive, Mississauga, ON L5P 1B2) for routes to various Landline airports within 3 hours from YYZ.

In addition to your driving responsibilities, you will assist with the loading/unloading of passenger baggage and cargo during the boarding and disembarkation process.

What You'll Do:

• Safe, responsible, and timely operation of our passenger vehicles
• Accurate and timely completion of MTO and Company-required documentation, including electronic logs and vehicle inspections
• Courteous and thoughtful treatment of passengers and other drivers sharing the roadway
• Professional conduct at all times while on duty or in uniform
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in a diligent and comprehensive manner with a special focus on safety.
• Safely load and unload baggage and cargo weighing up to 70 pounds/32 kg per unit and push/pull luggage carts with multiple items loaded
• Clean, fuel, and dump waste tanks on vehicles

What We're Looking For:

• Valid BZ or CZ driving license and a minimum of 1 year of commercial passenger driving experience operating either motorcoach or full-size bus
• Ability to provide a driver's abstract clear of any demerits
• Ability to pass the required criminal reference checkApplicants must complete a pre-employment drug test to comply with company safety requirements
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including the loading and unloading of luggage
• Confident and experienced in the use of tablets, smart phones, and online applications
• High School Diploma or equivalent education required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
