Job summary

Inland Steel Products in Saskatoon is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for customers at our scale facility and warehouse. You will handle payments, create scale tickets, enter weights and prices, and maintain a friendly, professional service standard.

The role is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of accountability and integrity.
  • Knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to lift and handle materials in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the customer experience from start to finish.
  • Handle retail customer payments/transactions in person.
  • Create scale tickets and enter weights and prices into our internal operating system.
  • Receiving, sorting, and processing metal materials.
  • Providing friendly, professional, and helpful service in customer interactions.
  • Perform housekeeping to ensure work area cleanliness.
  • Travel to our other Branches may be required.
