Job summary

Skyline Building Systems is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team. You will manage the full order process while providing excellent customer support and closely collaborating with the Sales and Operations teams.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely communication, and proactive problem solving to ensure orders are completed smoothly and customers stay informed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a sales or customer service environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of customer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Process customer quotes, sales orders, returns, and order changes accurately
• Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
• Follow up on back orders, shipments, and delivery updates to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate shipments, pick-ups, and returns with freight carriers
• Support sales efforts by recommending alternate or additional products based on customer needs
• Maintain accurate customer records and files
• Resolve customer concerns and provide solutions in a professional manner
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure orders are completed efficiently and on time
• Monitor customer feedback and help identify opportunities to improve service
