Job summary

Air Canada is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead and optimize airport customer service operations at Toronto Pearson. You will plan, organize, and supervise daily ground handling activities, ensuring safety, service quality, and efficient resource use.

You will coordinate with Leads and the Resource Manager, manage staff deployment, address service issues, and drive improvement initiatives while maintaining strong union relations and policy communication.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and delegate daily work assignments for airport ground handling staff using airport automation tools.
  • Coordinate operational activities with Leads and monitor staff deployment with Resource Manager and Lead.
  • Contribute to operational safety, quality of service and financial results for the station.
  • Anticipate, identify and resolve service and operational problems with a results-oriented approach.
  • Assume local leadership for specific initiatives for process and performance improvements.
  • Communicate policies, procedures and changes to staff; ensure service standards and union relations are observed.

  • They’re appointed at this post to monitor the deployment of staff in coordination with the Resource Manager and Lead as well as responsible for the effective management & deployment of facility and equipment resources.

  • They’re appointed to assume local leadership, as assigned, for specific local initiatives for process & performance improvement.
  • Candidates are appointed to communicate policies, procedures, and changes to staff.
  • They’re appointed to ensure that service standards are practised consistently maintain optimal Union relations and recognize the Union’s leadership.
