Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred)
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents (required)
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height, and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting (required)
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills (required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills (required)
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills (required)

Location & Pay

Location: 952 Southdale Rd. West, London, Ontario N6K 0X0. Part Time.

Pay: Starting hourly rate of $17.60.
