Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Owen Sound is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with questions, make recommendations, and deliver a positive shopping experience.

You will handle transactions at the register and assist with stocking and merchandising to keep the store inviting. The role is part-time and requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and maintain clean bathrooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Additional Information

Starting pay: $17.60 per hour.

Location: 2125 16 St. East, Unit D, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 0E2.
