Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a Permanent Part-time Customer Service Agent based in Kelowna to greet passengers, manage reservations, check in travelers and handle related duties with a focus on safety and service quality.

The successful candidate will provide friendly, professional support in a fast-paced setting, working various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed. Knowledge of travel procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Clear and effective communication, including difficult conversations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with multitasking.
• Comfortable using computers and payment devices.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, holidays, or irregular shifts.
• Professional representation of Pacific Coastal Airlines to partners and customers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, verify immigration documents.
• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges.
• Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations.
• Resolve service disruption issues and suggest alternative options.
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes for safe, on-time departures.
• Promote company products, services, processes and guidelines.
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs in a safe, respectful manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for a Permanent Part time Customer Service Agent based in Kelowna.

Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered at the South Terminal building at Vancouver International Airport.

We fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations in a beautiful province of British Columbia.

Job Responsibilities

• Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, verify immigration documents


• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges


• Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations


• Resolve service disruption issues such as cancelled or missed flights, determining alternative flight options


• Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure


• Possess an excellent understanding of company products, services, processes and guidelines and promote them at all times


• Commitment to providing a safe, stress-free and friendly passenger experience


• Deliver service standards in accordance with Pacific Coastal Airlines philosophy


• Assist passengers with accessibility needs in a safe, respectful, and professional manner, utilizing ground service equipment as required


• Other duties as assigned

• Must represent Pacific Coastal Airlines in a professional manner to our partners, vendors, and customers


• Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance
